Fricalan schools is an online language school. It offers Xitsonga and Sepedi lessons on a virtual platform to persons from age 4yrs and above.

The school was established in 2022 by a team of five (5) directors. The realisation that they could not get any of their Mother tongue languages in the existing school system and that their children had to learn other languages was a problem. They decided to be the solution and provide the languages through a school.

It is said that Mother tongue (first language or native language) is essential for learning as a part of intellectual ability. Mother tongue is the language human beings acquire from birth. It helps the child in his/her mental, moral, and emotional development.

Children who grow up not knowing their mother tongue are disadvantaged. Fricalan aims to close that gap and builds pride in native languages.
